Launched in April of 2001, phpBBHacks.com is the largest unofficial resource dedicated to the phpBB community software. It features the largest database of phpBB related downloads granted with author permission on the internet, including hacks (code modifications), styles/templates, graphics and more. Over 4,000 unique items have been added to our database by over 1,400 authors and they have been downloaded over 13,000,000 times. The site also features related resources and a friendly and moderated support community.

One of the top 10 most rated listings on Hot Scripts, the site has been featured in nine books, including the first book ever published about phpBB, “Building Online Communities with phpBB 2” (Packt Publishing), which was co-authored by members of our community and staff, with a foreword written by Patrick O’Keefe, the founder of the site.
