If there was one seo trick that you've done, that helped you get your forums higher search engine rankings, what would it be please ?

It's a keynote by Brent Payne at a conference I just spoke at. He's in charge of SEO for Tribune, so he's got a lot of great things to share. His talk has some things that forum administrators can definitely use.

Thanks Patrick, it's appreciated. Have tried it on the speakers and the headphones, and the sound is very distorted - how is it for you ?

In my opinion you should go with social media like Facebook to promote your forum so that more people know about it and be active on it. Start interesting threads so that more people participate on that and more activity means more chances of fast indexing of pages that would result in good rankings.
