|
|
I'm having a problem with this. I could not get it to work correctly, although it showed fine in the MODS. I also and the announcement centre installed, which does work fine.
I looked for the author, and any updates, but, not any luck on that one. I can't even find the Author.
So, I figured I would reverse the order of the install, and remove things, to get it back to normal. Well, that doesn't seem to work at all. I even tried the install folder, and was hoping there would be a uninstall this there, but there wasn't. Now I'm stuck with this.
Does anyone know a way of uninstalling this ? I tried removeing all files, and undoing any edits. Clearing the cache, and the works. Now when I go to MODS, I get:
General Error
Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/acp_wysiwyg.php.
If I upload the required files, I then get the MODS section back, but the Almsamim WYSIWYG is listed.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
I tried the support forums at phpbb, and they said to get in touch with who made the mod. I wish I could...Hahaha.
I'm running phpbb3, subsilver2 style, 3.0.7 PL1 |

Then you still have installed the entry (ie. in .MODS). So upload this file again, to get access to the ACP. Then go to SYSTEM -> Administration Control Panel and search for the ACP module of this mod. Finally delete it over there first. Then you can remove above file. _________________ Regards,

| I'm sorry, I'm sure I did something wrong. I did as described, and it removed the wysiwyg in the acp mods panel. But, anything I clicked on in that panel, was all blank after that. The announcement did not show either. So, I put them back for now. This may be a little over my head. I appreciate the help though. |

That's strange. So leaving that file on your server helps to keep anything else alive? _________________ Regards,

Yes it does. If I take it out, I cannot click on anything else in the ACP. I seem to get those strange things going on lately. I guess I'll just have to leave it there, and just not have anything set to yes. |

I had to think, and hunt a little, but I had to go to system, Administration Control Panel, MODs, and there I could remove the double listing. I forgot all about that. Working to hard on other parts of the forum I guess.
Everything is back to normal now, except, I do not see that function anywhere on the forum. I'm sure I'm doing something else wrong. I do have the settings set to yes on everything. I checked permissions also. Now I'm stuck again.
It says module enabled. I click on the WYSIWYG, that takes me to the editor. It's set to yes on everything. I see no difference in the post reply section though. Am I supposed to ?
I just wanted to let you know what my problem was. |
