Styling Posts Made By A Certain Group Differently

hi everybody.

I'm trying to get more people to welcome new users, so what I'm trying to do is display the posts of anyone who is in the "Newly registered users" group differently, with a reminder to welcome them to the community. What I want is some sort of a template tag, like <!-- if the author of this post is in this group, then -->.

The only problem is I don't know what template tag to use. Does anyone know?

There isn't one by default. You would need to find or make a modification that adds such a tag.
