Restrict user contact in phpbb private messages

Hello,


I have a question on the forum permission configuration for phpbb 3.0.9

I have created two groups G1 and G2 and I want to create users that will either be assigned to G1 or G2 by the forum administrator.

Questions:

- Is possible to have them communication through private messages but restricted group level?

Here are the points that I try to cover:

- Users of G1 and G2 would be able to send private messages to users from the same group, but they should not be able to add or send private messages to others in G2.

- Also, when managing lists of frieds I have seen the system displays the entire list; how can I make the list contain only the "group" list of users?


Is this possible and if so, how can this be done?

You would need some custom modifications. phpBB 3 doesn't have this level of per-group control by default.
