Require password to read rest of post?

Is there a mod currently available to lock a post at a certain point with a password?
So as an example, you could read this post but after

----

these lines it would require you to enter a password. This is totally separate than your site login/password. Would only be used for posts.

Im open to other ideas, But Id like to lock the thread to certain members on a monthly basis. I dont want to have to adjust membership groups each month, instead, just send out a password to the members who should have access each month is what Id prefer.

None that I am aware of, although there is probably a way to do it. Two alternatives I know about right now though is password protecting a forum. You can do that with the vanilla install of phpBB3. But that just protects the forum, not the post.

Maybe moving those kinds of posts in to a password protected forum would do the trick? You'd only have to give permissions once and of course the password to those allowed to have it. If you are worried about security you could change the password on a regular basis.

The second alternative only protects against guests. It's a BBCode that simply hides the content between the code. But it does not password protect anything and if a guest logs in they'd be able to read it.

Ill continue my search, what you have suggested seems to be all I can find thus far with phpbb. Not that its a bad idea just not sure if it will work as easy as what im trying to do.
