Replace all comments by a given user with different text...

Hi there. I'm looking for a fun little hack and just wondering if this has ever been done before and exists anywhere out there.

I want to play a joke on a long-time user on our forum. I want to set it up so that every post by this particular user is replaced with a certain phrase (or even better, it chooses one of several phrases). I just want it so that no matter what he types, it displays something else.

Obviously I don't want this to affect the database in any way. I don't want old, or even future, posts to get altered. I just want it to be a code-based hack so that once I remove the code, all his posts will go back to what he originally typed.

I imagine this is pretty specific, so if it's never been done before would anyone be able to point me to the file that needs to be hacked and maybe point me in the right direction of how I need to hack it?

I think you may be able to do this with some SQL code, but I am not able to help you with it since I'm not very good with SQL.

An SQL query would really not be the way to go, as that would alter the database and erase the original post contents. Hacking the files would be a better approach. It's been a while since I looked at phpBB 2's files, so I can't say much specifics there. Certainly viewtopic.php would be a place to start.
