Problems with script banning users: Need help conversion.

Hello, I know this version is no longer supported but I am getting ready to convert to phpbb3.0.10. I already have a test forum set up and all has gone well. However, I am getting complaints from some members that they have been banned on the current 2x script. We have not banned anyone and I would like to resolve this issue prior to converting the database to phpbb3.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? This is what I've done to install phpbb2.0.23:

I completely overwrote my original script with a raw base script of phpbb 2.0.23. I then added just a few mods.

Admin User List
Default Subject on Reply
Last Post Topic on Index
File Attachment Hack
No Thread Stretch
Photo Visual Confirmation
User Viewed Posts Tracker

I also need to note that I recently did a forum merge (in Nov) from two databases. It seems the merge went well, but perhaps this is causing some conflict that I am unaware of.

Any help is much appreciated.

Maybe those users just dont have access to certains part of your board?
When they really are banned then they would not be able to make contact with you to complaint about some ban i guess.
