Convert Odyssey phpBB2 template to work with SMF

Hello

I have downloaded the source zip for the Odyssey template for phpBB2, and I would like to convert it to work with SMF. I tried to contact the original admin through their website, but its no longer online. I dont know if this user still posts here or not. But I would like to have their permission to use this template with SMF. I promise that its for my own personal use, I wont be making money off of it whatsoever, nor will I release it.

I appreciate your diligence in this matter. Are we speaking of the Odyssey Grey Template? http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/6027 I just want to make sure before I try to contact the author.

Speaking from a general perspective, you should be fine to do it as long as you maintain the appropriate footer credit. It is good to receive permission, though (especially if you plan to distribute, which you aren't planning to do).

I found the user through the phpbb board, and I sent a private message but he/she hasn't been online on that board in years
