Hello everyone.

I want to add a navigation bar with some links in my phpBB3 forum, but I don't know how can I do this.
A navigation bar like the one used in template DustyGreen from phpBB2 version, would be nice.

Someone know how can I do this?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Satik,

Thanks for posting.

I believe this is the side menu in question:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/davidmenu.htm

You can use the instructions on the page. You can paste that code into your overall_header.html in between the <head> tags.

If you need any further help, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,

Patrick

Finally I made it.

I was uploading the js files to the template folder, but they're supposed to be at the root.
That's why it doesn't work before.

Thanks a lot for your support, Patrick.

Hey Satik,

Thanks for the reply. My pleasure, I'm glad that you got it working.

Alternatively, you could please them in the template folder and then just edit these two lines:

Code:
<SCRIPT SRC="ssm.js" language="JavaScript1.2">

Code:
<SCRIPT SRC="ssmItems.js" language="JavaScript1.2"></SCRIPT>

You would want them to be something like:

Code:
<SCRIPT SRC="http://www.yourdomain.com/styles/prosilver/template/ssm.js" language="JavaScript1.2">

Code:
<SCRIPT SRC="http://www.yourdomain.com/styles/prosilver/template/ssmItems.js" language="JavaScript1.2"></SCRIPT>

But, it's up to you, what you think is most organized.

Thanks,

Patrick

the best navbar in phpBB history is cherokee's REDBAR

absolutely superb mod - started as a phpBB2 mod but then phpBB3 too

if that is the only mod you have, then you're doing fine!!
