Your Hobbies

I thought it was funny that I couldn't remember a thread like this posted; so it must have been a long time, if at all. So, I wanted to ask: what are your hobbies? Do you collect anything? What do you do in your downtime?

Seriously though, a lot of my spare time I spend on phpBB - whether it's moderating the forums, working on my own forums or doing phpBB based work for other people
Apart from that my (seriously limited) spare time is spent either watching films (I love watching films, I can easily sit and watch 4 or 5 in a row) or playing my guitar. Just got a sweet new home studio set up so I can get some decent recordings done in my room ^_^

That sounds like fun.

Music is definitely a passion of mine. Not playing it, but listening. I listen to music much of my day. I listen to a lot of different stuff, but I'm a huge fan of Diddy and Bad Boy Entertainment and collecting their music (vinyl, CD, cassette, digital) has become a major hobby for me.

I'm a sports fan, too (Yankees in MLB and Dolphins in the NFL). I like to play around when I can, usually with my brothers, at baseball, basketball, etc. I like to watch movies, as well, when I can, though it's not a constant. TV is in there, as well (House, 24, Family Guy, The Simpsons and some others). The stock market is another area of interest and I enjoy gaming when I can, which isn't that much now, but hopefully more in the future.

Those are the things that come to mind!

Argh! I can't believe I forgot to add my obsession with Guitar Hero and Rock Bank for the xBox 360 - love those games. ALong with Mirrors Edge, Need for Speed and Halo 3 / ODST - that's about all I play

For a few years ago my hobby was metaldetecting.
I made some nice finds with it, like very old coins, old artifacts and other stuf.

These days my hobby is still metaldetection but now more on the internet.
In 2005 i started my first phpbb2 board with as subject metaldetecting.
Trough the years when developing the board i made a few mods for which most of them now are available as downloads at phpbbhacks.

I always found metal detection interesting, though I only did it a few times myself.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero seem fun, too. I've never played them. But, my brother is planning to get Green Day Rock Band, so I may be trying that out.

When I am not tending to my vegetable garden, I dedicate time to phpBB where I meet lost of interesting people and interact with them. I am new at this but it is caching on to me.

I am a graphic and web designer but I am really like music and dance. Ballroom dance is fine to me and I like mainly classical pop music.
