I have just revamped this site moving from phpBB2 to phpBB3 and as usual I have started from scratch by installing a new phpBB3 forum and not electing to update the old phpBB2 due to the fact that a lot of registered members have not updated their email address's and/or are no longer active.

The Style proParadise was created by BillStur Styles basically to my specifications so I am asking you all to take a look, not so much for a review of the forum itself, though I would appreciate yoour thoughts, but more so to allow you to see just how talented Bill is when it comes to styling phpBB3

The frontpage is the very popular board3 portal which is modified to suit the layout so when you visit, make sure you take a look at the index and the forum layout itself.

As a guest, yoou will not see the Freebies and Competition forums but that will not stop you from having a (still) good view of the style itself.

Oh and while I am at it, does anyone know where I can get a board3 clock that matches the color scheme or can someone make the necessary change so that it blends in with the style thanks?

All comments and feedback appreciated.

Hey ~HG~,

Congrats on the site.

I think the main thing that jumps out at me as far as something out of place would be the icons with the default blue in them, like the arrows on the portal or the circle I for the announcements icon. Those being changed to purple, etc. would add some nice polish.

Good luck with it.

Thanks,

Patrick

Thanks Patrick, I have not so far looked at the images on the portal page other than the clock and as a result it gives me something else to think about.

It is comments such as yours that at the end of the day gives a phpBB forum the look that it should have to be just that little bit different than the next one.

I have managed to find some replacement images with the help of google.

Still a few to go but finding them is a real challenge.
