Hello,

Thank you for visiting phpBBHacks.com.

I'm happy to announce that the phpBBHacks.com phpBB 3 Styles Demo has launched. From the demo, you can easily flip through all of the phpBB 3 styles currently in our database. It can be viewed at http://www.phpbbhacks.com/stylesdemo.

Thank you for reading and for supporting phpBBHacks.com.

Sincerely,

Patrick

Thank you Patrick as I know it will make life a lot easier for me when searching for styles for phpBB3

One thing I would like to ask is this, are you separating the styles (or cataloguing them in someway) to show if they are based on subsilver2 and or Prosilver?

This is one problem I have found annoying with phpBB3 hacks and styles as quite often you have to download them only to find they are only suitable for one style or the other.

Hey ~HG~,

Thanks for the reply. My pleasure. I'm happy to hear that.

As far as sorting, it's not something that we have at this time. I appreciate the suggestion, though. I'm not sure if it's feasible or not, within our system, but I'll keep it in mind.

Thanks,

Patrick

Hey Patrick, excellent work man!
I've liked so much your new Styles Demo, now for phpBB 3.0.x.

Thanks man, on this way we can select any style for download by seeing it on action, and not by testing everytime like we have made until now.

Do you want a suggestion?
If you can e have time to do ti, you could add the option to choose another language to test it within a style on your Styles Demo. It would be good to see the performance of a style and language pack at the same time.

Good luck.

Excellent idea, but as ~HG~ said, it would be nice to know what style they are based on. I have a few mods installed and therefore can only use Prosilver based themes.
Is there any quick way to tell which is which?

EDIT: After having looked at a few styles in the database, would I be right in guessing that the ones with the rounded corners are likely to be Prosilver based?

Generally the easiest way to pick prosilver against subsilver2 is the placement of the mini profile information in the posts.

prosilver is on the right hand side and subsilver is on the left hand side.
