need to change logo on phpbb3

I read on a phpbb forum that the way to change my logo at the top of the forum is to just replace the logo file with my own. This post says ACP, so I hope it's okay to ask it here.

It said to find the sitelogo_small.png file and replace that with my own. OF COURSE, I wanted it to be over twice as wide, but didn't realize that. Worked hard to get my logo just right, using one of my own photos and doing the tweaking in Photoshop Elements.

I always say I know just enough to be dangerous, and if you look at my logo, you will see why. Is there an easy fix for this? PLEASE keep in mind that I'm on the bottom rung of the ladder on doing edits. I am learning, but if you have a fix for me, please really spell it out. I so appreciate help if you have some. Also, I believe I have posted in the correct forum, but still not up to speed with the terms, so forgive if this is in the wrong place.
