FIXED-Forward to index from main domain

[watdhell]

i need my forum to load when the main domain name is entered, rather than the actual. As in, the user types in www.domainname.com and enters the forum, rather than www.domainname.com/forum.

I've seen and used a small script before that was placed in the index.html of the main domain that instantly forwarded to the forum; however, I can't seem to find it now. Anyone help?

If not this piece of code, does anyone have any suggestions for a better way?
