I have seen quite a few great phpBB3 designs to date.

I guess the answer would lie in what the forum is used for such as general or gaming and the designs that relate to them.

I have a personal preference for designs by John Olson and this latest one is truly fantastic.

I like lighter colors. I'm a big fan of Designs by Echo, especially this one:

I like that one Marian though I must admit the "solid" red does not do it for me. I think if the red cells were done with a "glass" effect then it would be a lot more desirable.

That's a tough one. If we're going on a style basis (rather than the nicest looking phpBB 3 site), I think Macinscott 3 is quite nice.

Well, i like so much the styles Glacier, subsilver+, Acyd Tech, VistaX, problack and others. I like specially the styles provided from the prosilver structure, i really think they are great in their template...

But the theme is no so nice xD
