I installed the quick reply mod. It shows up, smiles are placed in just fine but as soon as I hit "Submit" it brings me to the post a reply page, posting.php, with an error saying:

"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again"

It keeps the info I put into the quick reply box on that page for me to edit if I need to.

When I submit from that page, everything is OK.

Any ideas to why this would happen?

I am using the Playstation style.

THANKS!

Mike

It can also happen with a standard install of phpBB3 and the solution is to set your Maximum time to submit forms: to 7200

You will find Security in your ACP in the menu on General.

If it is already set to 7200, remove it and add it again and then purge the cache to finish off.

Actually I believe HG is wrong. That problem is usually caused by an early BETA or RC(release candidate) template being used. All posting forms after a certain RC of phpBB3 had to return a token for security reasons.

Note: This has to do with with the added "form validation" which was added in the RC7/RC8 phase.

the problem may be in Cookies.

There is a program called "Power Cookies". Install, run it and try.
