|
|
Greetings,
Is there any way to display the latest posts of a forum (of my own choice) on a html page? I know already that there are hacks for displaying the latest responded posts (topic_anywhere for instance) but I am searching for a hack that does ONLY display the latest new created posts, not latest replied posts.
I have been searching for a hack like this for weeks now, I would seriously appreciate it if anyone could kindly direct me to the right direction. |

THank for the response, However, topic anywhere does only list them through latest reply (post) and not latest new topic.
So I am still at square one...
If there is anyone who could help me with this please? |

Well, actually...
in Topics anywhere MOD you have this option:
Jump to last post?: ( yes or no )
If yes, the link to the topic will point to the last post immediately, just like the last post icon does -
when no (default) the link will point to the first page of the topic
Show forum name: ( yes or no )
If yes, the name of the forum where the topic is in will be displayed
Id say that's pretty darn close. |

But the order of the topics will still be determined by the date of the last post, I think that's what he means. He wants the order to be based on the date of the topic creation so they're not bumped by new replies.
The only mod that can do that afaik is Wichers statistics mod. But it's a lot to install if you're only going to use one module. |
