I want to know if there is a way in CSS or even in HTML if there is a way I can set the {code} tag to expand/collapse like here on the forum. Every attempt I've tried has failed in one way or another. I'd like to use this in a new style I'm releasing. Any ideas?

This is the phpBB2 hack for what you want.

You could look into updating it for phpBB3 and if you can I would like to use it myself.

What I need is something that doesn't require editing php files. Something for the style right out of the box that doesn't require edits, if that's possible.

Actually, I'll drive my wife over your house to kiss you if you can figure out how to make collapsible tables with a persistent cookie that doesn't expire after you quit your browser. I wasted 2 weeks on that for Macinscott 3 before I finally gave up.
