Possible to store user IPs in phpBB2?

I think I already know the answer AND I've already done a search on this forum, but just to be sure:

Is there any way to view the IP addresses for my users in phpBB2? I don't think there is, but I'm curious to know.

IPs are stored with posts, private messages, current sessions and poll votes. There are a number of hacks in the database here that can be used to view them in various ways. phpBB even includes viewing IP addresses of posts as a default feature.

One such hack, written by Jeremy, that I like quite a bit is called IP Search. It allows you to search IPs and IP ranges and see what members have used them on your site: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/1812

Actually, I don't think phpBB2 stores IP for private messages. Or at least, there is no way to see them.

phpBB 2 does store IPs for private messages. I know because I wrote a hack to search them. I believe you're correct on the second part, though. I recall no way to view those IPs without installing a hack of some kind. phpBB 2 generally lacks any kind of moderation features for PMs out of the box.
