Hey Jester,

Thanks for the question.

There will be two winners - one hack author and one style author. The hack author will win the entire phpBBHacks.com phpBB 3 Hacks Idol Grand Prize Package and everything listed within it. Similarly, the style will win the entire phpBBHacks.com phpBB 3 Styles Idol Grand Prize Package. So, we'll have two winners with each winning one of the packages, as a whole.

Thanks again for all of the replies.

Patrick

Hi,

Is it normal that it's possible to vote several times to the same poll?

Anyway, good luck to everyone.

Hello Nadia,

Thank you for pointing that out. You're right. I researched it and I found what you were talking about. I really appreciate you pointing it out this early in the competition at a time where we can fix it before it does any damage.

Unfortunately, fixing it means clearing the vote totals. This was really hard for me and I spent a good amount of time seeing if there was anything else that I could do. But, there isn't. It really, really bothers me and I can't apologize enough.

I have pushed the voting deadline back a day. If you have already voted (and you are eligible to vote), please vote again. I am really sorry that we had to lose valid votes in the process.

For full details, please see: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/phpbbhacks-com-idol-if-you-voted-please-vote-again-vt73257.html

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

I can't vote again in polls where I am. It displays me a message as if I already voted.

Normal ?

I appreciate your time

I noticed the following line in your announcement:
Quote:
In order to deter abuse, we are not accepting votes from people who registered after the voting announcement was made and we had enacted a measure in order to block these votes.

Does this mean that even now, after you reset the votes, newly registered users cannot vote? Or was that the situation before this incident?

The reason I said this is because on my site, gamexe.net, I encouraged users to register and vote for their favourite styles and mods, although this would be a bit silly of me if it wouldn't be possible for them to vote. ^^"
Thanks.
