Submissions are now closed in the phpBBHacks.com Idol competition. I appreciate all of the interest that was expressed in this event. We received a very good response and numerous submissions. Thank you to all of the authors who participated.
I will be in touch, soon, with all of the authors who have been randomly selected to participate in the tournament. Following that, we hope to kick off the voting rounds within the next couple of days, allowing the members of phpBBHacks.com to eventually select the two winners who will both receive a great prize package. For a full list of prizes, please check out the initial announcement.
I realize that this competition created some excitement as far as creating phpBB 3 hacks and styles and submitting them to our database and I'm very happy about that. But, most downloads in our database were submitted without their being any prizes at stake and that will continue to be the case, I'm sure. Though we are only able to reward two authors (and I am delighted to be able to do so), I greatly appreciate every author who has contributed to the phpBB community through phpBBHacks.com. Thank you.
