Welcome to the ninth annual phpBBHacks.com Awards.
Through these awards, we recognize just a few of the individuals who have made outstanding contributions to phpBBHacks.com in the past year. These awards take into consideration activity on and between November 7, 2010 and November 6, 2011.
Members and authors must be nominated based upon their activity in this period and downloads nominated must have been submitted or updated, in our database, in this span. The date that a download was added and the date it was last updated are both listed on the page dedicated to that individual download.
To nominate, you must have a phpBBHacks.com Support Forums account with at least one post made on or before November 6, 2011 (Eastern Time). There are just four guidelines to keep in mind when nominating:
1. Only one member, author or download can be nominated for EACH award. In other words, you cannot nominate five authors for Hack Author of the Year. You have to pick one person. One person can be nominated for more than one award, however. If you submit multiple nominations, the last one listed will be the one that is counted.
2. You cannot nominate yourself or a download that you authored or co-authored.
3. If a download that you wish to nominate is offered for multiple versions of phpBB, please specify which version you are nominating. If you don't specify, your nomination will count for the download that is compatible with the most recent version of phpBB.
4. Do not attempt to artificially inflate our nomination totals in any way. This includes but is not limited to trading nominations, encouraging people to nominate indiscriminately (publicly or privately), mass mailing/posting and any other behavior that could lead to results being artificially skewed. Individuals found to be participating in these activities will be disqualified from nomination in any category.
Please note that you do not have to nominate for every category. You can nominate for as many or as few as you would like - please go for as many as you feel comfortable with. The more valid nominations that we receive, the better!
From these nominations, the ballot for each award will be chosen, consisting of the top 4 nominees, plus ties. Through the poll system available on these forums, you will be able to vote for the winners!

5. Support Forums Member of the Year
This award is intended to acknowledge the non-staff member who you feel best exemplifies the qualities that phpBBHacks.com puts a premium on. Knowledge is valuable, but most valuable is a kind and helpful nature. You don't need to be a phpBB expert to be nominated for this award - you need to be someone who is kind and who shares what they know in a productive fashion that helps others. Patrick cannot be nominated for this award.
6. phpBB of the Year
This award cannot be nominated for. The nominees of this award will be taken from the last 12 months of winners of the phpBBHacks.com Featured phpBB award. To be nominated, a winner must still be running phpBB in an acceptable, similarly impressive fashion.
So, that's all there is to it. Please nominate.
You nominate by sending a private message through this link: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/privms ... ost&u=8375 - nominations will be closed on December 12, 2011 at 8 PM ET (GMT -5). Please do not post your nominations on this, or any thread.
We will also have the Top 5 Hack Authors of the Year and the Top 5 Style Authors of the Year, as selected by myself, based upon a number of different variables including quality of downloads, number of downloads, popularity of downloads, author visibility and other things. As with the user selected awards, they will be recognized for their exceptional contributions to the phpBB community through phpBBHacks.com.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to private message me or reply to this thread.
