|
|
Hello,
Thank you for visiting phpBBHacks.com.
After almost a month of nominating and voting, the phpBBHacks.com Awards 2009 have come to their conclusion. It is now time for us to announce the winners.
Before I do so, I wanted to congratulate everyone who was nominated and everyone who won. Being nominated, in and of itself, is a beautiful thing and should be recognized. If you did not win or were not nominated, please do not take it personally. These awards do have meaning, but they are also for fun and not everyone can win or be nominated. Please join me in congratulating our winners.
I also have to pass along a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the process by nominating and voting. You are vital part of this event. You selected the nominees and decided the winners.
Without further ado, here they are:
1. Hack Author of the Year: primehalo (Ken F. Innes IV)
2. Hack of the Year: Censor Block by Thoul

4. Style/Template of the Year: 1impression by gokin
5. Support Forums Member of the Year: ~HG~

Thank you for reading and for supporting the phpBBHacks.com Awards.
Sincerely,

Wow this is something that I did not expect to win this year and to also be in the top 10 Hack Author of the year awards is... well, just unbelievable.
My heart really does go out to lumpy burgertushie whom I honestly thought would win the Support Forums Member of the Year award this year and I just hope that he continues to give his fantastic support to the members of phpBBHacks.com for many years to come.
To all the winners of all the categories from the phpBBHacks.com awards, I give you my congratulations and trust that the win give you all the incentive to continue to do what you do for this community and I really do look forward to spending the next 12 months sharing your interests.
To everyone that voted, I thank you for you time and participation in doing so because without your interest, we would not have such a supportive community.
To those of you that drop in here from time to time and to those of you that only "lurk" please take heart and understand that I have only been involved with phpBB for 8 years and that I am virtually self taught so that means you to, can teach yourself the ins and outs of what is behind the scenes in running a phpBB forum.
To keep this short, I learnt most of what I know about phpBB from this forum and one of the most unselfish people this community has even known in Jeremy Rogers (Thoul) so my thanks goes out to him and at the same time I must thank Patrick for running this site which is without a doubt, the most comprehensive site relating to phpBB in the world.
Stick with it guys because phpBB really does rock the world when it comes to free forum software. _________________ ~HG~
