Patrick how is it possible that your 10th anniversary actually predates phpBB.com 10th anniversary by several months?

I know you stated this yourself but you did not expand on why or how?

Thanks for the question. I am not sure if this is related to our April Fools Day joke or related to the phpBB.com member registration dates.

If it is related to us saying we are actually 11 years old and predate phpBB itself, that was an April Fools Day joke. That we were 11 years old instead of 10. See more here: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/april- ... 78107.html

We launched on April 6, 2001. I am not sure when phpBB.com launched, but phpBB 1.0 was released on December 9, 2000. You have to keep in mind that the registration dates on the phpBB.com forums aren't accurate, not for the original phpBB.com forums, anyway.

Like it says that the first users joined on July 3, 2001 - that may be accurate with a new database they created (it was a long time ago, so I forget why this is as it is), but there were forums before that. I have my original phpBB.com welcome e-mail and it is March 7, 2001 - not the October 30, 2001 that the phpBB.com database now says on my account.

The actual 10th anniversary of the launch of phpBB.com has already long passed.

Certainly, picking just a few of the many helpful members is a daunting task. Since I feel that we had an excellent Support Team during my time on the team, I'd like to limit my choices to those members (there are too many others to remember). For me, the short-list would include McPhilly, Thoul, FB-ke, JSLayton & Triumvirate - I hope you guys are doing well.

Of course, we can't leave out the Hack Authors - without whom there'd certainly be no anniversary to celebrate.

For some reason I decide to come back today and come to find out, my name is being thrown around!! I knew my ears were burning.

It's been awhile since I've been gone but I can honestly say that during the time that I focused on phpBB, this was BY FAR the best site out there to get assistance customizing your phpBB site. Glad to see you're still around Patrick and from the looks of it, still going strong. I imagine it won't be long and you'll be celebrating 20 years.
