phpbb3-Style : Vista different Col-weight

Hello Patrick & John,

first of all: I use only Firefox 3.6.6, no IE, no opera etc.

After changing the line

<td class="row2" align="center" nowrap="nowrap">

in

Code: Select all

<td class="row2" align="center" nowrap="nowrap" width="200">

and clean the cache (that I do after every modification), the result is unfortunately like this snapshoot:




It seems, that the colums "Themen" and "Beiträge" correlate in the sense that the "width="50" and the other colums define the widths depending on text or other rules coming from any other template-file or the stylesheet.css

Other styles have not the same, so I must wait until monday. Then I have the luxury to work with two monitores. Then I can compare the codes between two subsilver2-Themes and hope to find the "needle in the heykock".

Hey truecolor,

Thank for sharing that. The weird thing is that I am using Firefox, too. 3.6.16. But, I notice in your screenshots that you have a different date format than the default. Not sure if that is affecting what I see. I have registered for an account as Patrick. Please approve it when you have a chance.

Hello Patrick,

now you should be an active user on my board.

I added in several forums new posts. After that in the general view are all columns in one line.

Again it seems, that the answer I will find in the correct codeplace, which
define the width for this column.

Thanks for that. Ah, now I am getting the issue. When I login, the categories with no posts are of a different length.

I think I found what may be causing the issue. See in the code where it says:

<td width="100%" class="row1">

Change the 100% to 60%, upload, clear the cache and take a look. That may do the trick.

was the needle I must have been searching for.(sorry for my germish)

I found the code in forumlist_body.html

A little bit finetuning (instead your 60% now 58%) has lead that the column "Forum" shows as wide as possible and the other columns are all in one line.


Now finally I can fill my board with postings without getting an eye-tinitus.
