Open Link in New Window help please

Hello,

I'm running PHPBB3 on http://board.us2uk.net and I downloaded the installation instructions for the Open Link in New Window MOD and followed the instructions exactly how they were written (editing bbcode.html and functions.php), and it does not work. All of my test links continue to open in the same window.

This is a frustration for some of my members.

Could you help me out? Did I miss something else I was supposed to do? I'm running the SubGeoff theme, so I changed bbcode.html in that folder. Should I change it in all the theme folders?

I had done the first part, but I was unaware of the second bit. I've gone ahead and refreshed all the templates, but then when I went to themes to refresh, the theme the majority of the board is using (subGeoff) says:

[~HG~]

There is a little bit more to it than editing just 2 files.
