Need help with DB

Hello everyone.

I'm facing one big problem..
I'm trying to restore my mysql db since two weeks ago.. But I always get one error when trying to upload it trough the phpMyAdmin, the time expires..

So I decided to try bigdump, but when I try to upload with it, the page stays there forever and don't do the upload..

At the past, I used something like Bigdump, but I can't remember the name.

Could someone help me? I need some information about ways to upload the db.

Thanks for posting.

Are you able to get SSH access? If so, you could upload the database to your server and use a command ( http://www.bodhost.com/forum/linux-server-hosting/386-import-export-mysql-database-through-ssh.html ) to import it.

Glad that you got it sorted, Satik!

With regard to your question, the easiest way to find out if you have SSH access is to ask your host. If not, many hosts will enable it for you, at least temporarily.
