How can I get this navigation for my own phpbb-side?

Hello and welcome, truecolor.

As we discussed via e-mail, the navigation we have on our main site is actually independent from phpBB and is not powered by phpBB in any way. The navigation in our forums is in the header.

You could certainly add a side navigation to your website - or you could use a style that offers a navigation to the side, like some portal-themed styles do, though.
