Hy, Dillon!

I have just install this MOD on a fresh copy of phpBB 2.0.23 using EasyMOD.
It seems to work just fine, so probably it's still compatible with v.2.0.23.

So it's obvious you did something wrong. If you don't have a lot of MODs installed, you can try to install it using EasyMOD. Or, do a test on your computer first. You can use XAMPP for that.

I see that there are only 3 files to modify: login.php, includes/page_tail.php, language/lang_english/lang_admin.php
I don't think the issue could be in the edit files, you did something wrong when uploading the files. The files that goes to subSilver have to be copyed to all other styles.

Do you think the files got corrupt when I uploaded them? I have numerously deleted, and reuploaded the files and it hasent fixed anything... And I rechecked the edits on the three files..

Check your language files like lang_main.php and lang_admin.php for mistakes.

look if all lines have a ; at the end.
also look if there are any ' in the middle of the text, if so replace it with \' .

Dillon, does this MOD works on your subSilver theme? I hope that you are using also subSilver, because MODs are written for subSilver.

If it works on subSilver, but not on non-subSilver based styles, try to copy the coresponding files from your template admin folder to modcp folder. Here is the name of the files that do not change and you can safly copy over:
- disallow_body.tpl
- index.htm
- index_body.tpl
- index_frameset.tpl
- index_navigate.tpl
- page_footer.tpl
- page_header.tpl
- ranks_edit_body.tpl
- ranks_list_body.tpl
- smile_edit_body.tpl
- smile_import_body.tpl
- smile_list_body.tpl
- user_avatar_gallery.tpl
- user_ban_body.tpl
- user_email_body.tpl
- words_edit_body.tpl
- words_list_body.tpl

Copy this files from templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/admin to templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/modcp
If you have any MODs installed that modified this files you'll need to either make the same changes you did to root/admin php files to root/modcp or just put your template original files instead.

Please, let me know if this helps you.

The files Sylver Cheetah 53 is talking about do NOT go to root/modcp BUT TO templates/subSilver/modcp
So do NOT copy them to templates/subSilver/admin

that is not what you were supposed to do.
read the previous post.

I think that you are going to have to start over with new files now.
you have been going around in circles and probably have corrupted files and files in the wrong folders etc.

you never did answer the question about what you are using to upload/download the files.

also, what are you using to edit the files?

OK, luckily I backed up the files before I overwrote them, sorry Sylver Cheetah 53, I misunderstood your post. I am using FileZilla 3.1.3 for my FTP, and Notepad++ 5.0.3 for editing files.

Here is my site information, if anyone needs it...

My site is www.halescomputerservice.com/hosting

It is using NBS Multi Forums, but I dont think that makes a difference because when someone makes a new forum it just uses the same files for all the forums. If you would like, (i will erase all the forums before I release it), register a forum, create a new user, and set them moderators. And check the moderator panel...

I think i found the problem:

Code:

#
# OPEN:
#
ALL PHP FILES IN /modcp EXCEPT functions_modcp.php, page_footer_mod.php, page_header_mod.php, pagestart.php
#
# FIND:
# do this find in all files in /modcp
$phpbb_root_path = "./../";
#
# REPLACE WITH:
#
$phpbb_root_path = './';
#
# CLOSE ALL FILES
#

And:
Code:
#
# OPEN:
#
modcp/index.php
#
# FIND:
#
   $dir = @opendir(".");
#
# REPLACE WITH:
#
   $dir = @opendir("./modcp");
#
# CLOSE FILE
#

And:
Code:

#
# OPEN:
#
admin_mass_email.php
#
# FIND:
#
include('./page_header_mod.'.$phpEx);
#
# REPLACE WITH:
#
include('page_header_mod.'.$phpEx);
#
# CLOSE FILE
#
