Login and registration Integration

Hi,
After browsing a lot, finally i came here to find a solution.

Problem:
I have phpbb3 integrated with my own site, which is already having login and registration modules.

If user try to register either by clicking the register button from phpbb or from my site, it have to redirect to my registration page, not to phpbb3 registration page. Same for login to.
(I am maintaining phpbb3 database for user registration, not my own.)

Now what i need is, when user type username and password in my login page, i want to post the values to phpbb and it have to return whether it is valid or not. If it is valid, phpbb have to inilize the sessions in its own style. I will use the pbpbb sessions. Same for registration also, I will post the values to pbpbb registration, it have to return whether registration is success or not. All the results are displayed in my page only.

It is possible in phpbb3? :?: Please help.
