Right, i'd like to get this mod/hack installed and i have been searching around all day. Reading loads of guides. But im now none the wiser.
First of all im sorry if you've all been asked such dumb questions over and over but i seriously havnt got a clue where to start.
First of all, ive downloaded the "Advanced Quick Reply" found here at PHPBB Hacks.
Now, in my local PHP folder, where am i supposed to place the files contained within the .zip?
Then once the files are in place i take it i upload it to the site... then what?
I've quite literally read everything on this page
http://www.phpbb.com/mods/
and everything here.
But i really have no clue, and im starting to pull my hair out!
Someone, please save my sanity
Thanks in advance everyone |

So... i simply copy the folders "includes" and "language" from the archive, to the root folder of my php folder?
Then what?
Do i do the same for templates and the translations? |

| Follow the install instructions you read in the .xml file you opened in your browser (right click, "Open with..."). |

Hey all, managed to sort this out. The reason I had no idea how to do this was because I was opening the .xml files with Firefox, and it was all scewed, opened them up in internet explorer and HURRAH!
Can't believe how straight forward it is to add mods.
Thanks again everyone for your help |

Well done,
I hope you learned something useful for future installs.
Strange thing that happened with Firefox and the .xml file. |

Thanks you guys. Your help has been very much appreciated. I've since added a couple of mods and extra little bits to my forum.
It's no harder than using .css or html.
Again, thanks alot for the help |
