The first step in the instructions is

#-----[UPLOAD to root and RUN ]------------------------------------------
#
ezportal_admin_db_install.php ["Warning" delete after install!!!]

I have no clue on how to do this any tips would be appreciated.

Upload ezportal_admin_db_install.php to your main directory (with portal.php, index.php, admin directory, etcetera). From there, go into your web browser and type your forum address into the address bar followed by ezportal_admin_db_install.php. E.g. http://yourdomain.suffix/ezportal_admin_db_install.php or http://yourdomain.suffix/forum/ezportal_admin_db_install.php depending on your configuration. When you go to this page it should do all the work for you. Then just delete the file and you're away. Continue and as long as you don't use Firefox, everything should work.

Follow all the other instructions first, then sign in as admin and go to the installer (like before). If it still doesn't work you might have to install manually through the SQL.

It's done. Delete the file. Now, if everything else is done, you should be able to edit you portal through the Administration Panel.

Go back through all the instructions (part from SQL) and make sure they are completed. The installer just sets up your database for the hack.
