I have put it on and it appears in the config in admin panel,but it wont save! If I enter my image info and click submit, then go back into it.....its blank again and no-one has the avatar I submitted.

did you run the database part of the hack ( if any )?
did you do all the edits , exactly as described?

Definitely sounds like you didn't run the SQL for the mod. Could you post a link to the exact mod you used?
