I am not sure how they achieved the final picture but the thing about it I find interesting is that just by looking at it, you can gauge which countries are densely populated and which are not simply by the concentration of lights.
It also shows where each counties population is concentrated and Australia is a clasic example of that where some 90% of the population here live on the "seaboard" _________________ ~HG~
