Does this hack exist already?

not sure if any of you visit namepros.com but they have a neat tabber for their forums

at the top of the page they have discussion marketplace and industry reviews

does any sort of hack like this exist for PHPBB3?

I am guessing you mean the Tabs on this page (3 of them) http://www.namepros.com/

If so adding Tabs is relatively easy especially on phpBB3 which already uses Tabs in the ACP

Do a google on tabs as there are quite a few out there and that way you should be able to find exactly what you are looking for.

People have done it with pages but i want different categories showing up under the tabs

From my understanding of what you are saying is that you want your forum categories to be tabbed ... is that correct?

Hmmm, that is interesting but I dont think it would be that difficult given that the ACP is using tabs so converting the index page to a Tab setup should be easy enough to do.

I know I dont have the time to do it but maybe someone else has and can help you out with your request.
