Deleting Posts, But Maintaining Post Counts

Hey all,

I was just curious... if you wanted to delete a bunch of posts, but maintain all of the post count numbers for the forum (individual post counts, total post and thread counts on index, etc.), how would you go about doing that?

I appreciate any suggestions.
