crazy idea

yea I have a crazy idea. but dont know how to go about doing it. ok I am running phpbb 3.0.1 right now and I am having trouble installing flashchat 4.7.12 and flashchat 4.8.3 so what I am going to do. is have my forum run on phpbb 3.0.1 and going to have just my chat room run off phpbb 2.0.23 so people can register. or maybe later might be able to figure out how to share users from one to another.

but anyways I need a style that pretty much takes everything out. all I need is register button login button and 1 forum really. but i want to hide everything like return to index thing last visited current time who is online collumm. I will try tommorw when i get home from work. but If its easy to do like delete all content from a few files and edit profile.php please let me know. I have not made a style yet. but I have put in a few mods.

but really all i need is forum view register and login and when they register all i need is capthca username email and password.

or if you know of a chat client that intergrates with phpbb 3.0.1 would be helpful too.
