Cobalt Template/Confirmation Code Issue

Yes I know PHPBB 3 is out there but I prefer PHPBB 2.

That said... I installed Cobalt - everything looks fine except one issue - the confirmation code doesn't appear for new users registering on the board.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?
