I am using PHPBB 3.0.6

I would like to change the default value placed in the search box in the header. I am familiar with PHPBB but can not find witch file sets this value.

Any help would be great

In common.css :

Code:
#search-box {
   color: #FFFFFF;
   position: relative;
   margin-top: 30px;
   margin-right: 5px;
   display: block;
   float: right;
   text-align: right;
   white-space: nowrap; /* For Opera */
}

I want to change the text within the search box from "Search..." to Search Recipes. I checked in the /language/en/common.php file and could not find it. I am sure its in another file somewhere just not sure where.

Hello and welcome, bbw82.

After a little playing around, I was able to confirm that it was in the common.php file as you and -Ram- thought. Try changing this line:

Code:
   'SEARCH_MINI'            => 'Search…',

That should do the trick.

I appreciate your time.

Thanks,

Patrick
