Please review my new custom portal, and forum. A bunch of boxes change and the site has more features if you are logged in, but i'd appretiate any reviews logged in or not.

The custom portal was completed two days ago.

Honda Cbr Forum

Thank you in advance.

Hey GlobalMediaWebDesign,

Thanks for posting this. One suggestion I would offer: you only have a few sections, it looks like. Maybe Forum Index and News. This affords you the luxury of being able to make these items more pronounced. I'd like to see a more striking navigation system. Maybe in the header, definitely with some sort of graphical element so that people are clear what the two main sections are and can easily get to them.

I hope that this helps. Best of luck with your community!

Patrick

Redid the entire site.

Go check it out: Honda Cbr Forum

Let me know what you think.

Thanks, as always.

Hey GlobalMediaWebDesign.

Looking good. I noticed that the "User Box" header bar was just a little lower than the main "CbrNation Honda Cbr Forum" one in the center. The "Quick Link Menu:" one is even with it, so it would be cool if they were all flush against the top. Just a small thing.

Looking at the forum index, it seems like you have a bunch of content spread out into many forums, making it look like less content. Anyway that you can cut down or merge, you might want to take a look at that, just to better showcase your content.

I hope that these two comments are useful.

Thanks,

Patrick

Updated a bunch. Thanks for helping out Patrick.

The site is now for sale due to too many projects going at once.

My pleasure, GlobalMediaWebDesign. I would reaffirm the two comments I made above. The User Box is still a pixel or two lower and I think the forums could be merged a bit. But, maybe you decided otherwise. Totally cool. Best of luck with the sale.
