Thank you to everyone who has voted in the phpBBHacks.com Awards 2008.
After voting closed, I began to organize the results for announcement, but I noticed an unfortunate omission: one of the sites that should have been eligible for phpBB of the Year had not been added to the poll. This means that it was impossible to vote for this site, which is unfair and unacceptable.
The phpBB of the Year category actually had the least votes of any category, as well. So, I believe that the best thing to do here is to reset the phpBB of the Year poll and hold another vote. I ask everyone who voted in that category already to please vote again. You can do so here: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/phpbb- ... 74128.html
Since we're going to be holding voting for a little longer, I figured that it would be a waste to leave all polls closed during this time, so we may as well keep voting open on all polls, so that anyone who has not yet voted will have the opportunity. You can vote in the other polls at: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/phpbbh ... 74063.html
Voting in all polls will be closed on December 14, 2008 at 6:00 PM ET and results will be posted shortly thereafter.
Once again, I apologize for the error as well as for the delay in announcing results, for those that were looking forward to seeing them after Saturday. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Patrick
