Is there a hack to prevent moderators from accidentally moving something from the private moderators' discussions section to the public forum? One of our mods did this - what a nightmare...  If there isn't a hack for it, anyone got an idea how big a deal it would be for someone skilled to build us one/what it may cost?

Hello and welcome, Modr8r. 
I can see why this would be a problem. So, what I have done is set the permissions so that only I (as administrator) can move anything out of the staff forums.
The staff doesn't really need that sort of power in my communities as the staff sections don't need moderation and I don't want moderators moderating moderators, anyway. So, the only thing that might happen is some accident or, if someone became disgruntled, some sort of abuse of the feature.
Is there some reason that you don't want to take away that permission? If not, do you need help applying it? Please let us know.

Patrick, that is brilliant and simple and unbelievably appreciated!
There's no reason mods would have to (or care to) perform that action, and on any rare occasion that they'd wish to, they could always just cut and paste, which is certainly not going to happen by accident. I cannot thank you enough!
