OK. unzipped the files for the PL1 in the folder. Went to the install and guess what? No convert tab I am trying to convert my 2.0.23 to the latest 3.0.7-PL1
I got NO error messages. It unzipped into the right folder. got the install folder, BUT no dang " Convert " tab.
Any reason for that? or did l do something wrong? |

if you are still having this problem .......
I would suggest going 2.0.23 to 3.0.0
THEN with 3.0.0 up and running ....
upgrade to next version
find wording on downloads page
"Automatic Update Package"
then find "Show Files"
click on show files
click on the first zip you see
unpack the zip on your computer
Upload the archives contents to your phpBB installation - only the install folder is required.
Upload the whole install folder, retaining the file structure.
After the install folder is present, phpBB3 will go offline automatically.
Point your browser to the install directory, for example http://www.example.com/phpBB3/install/
Choose the "Update" Tab and follow the instructions
HAVE YOUR FTP username and password ready, you will need it |
