This hack adds a site announcement box to the top of your forums that can be edited easily in the admin panel. You can preview it before posting.

Latest or first posts of either a forum or topic can be chosen for announcements as well.

Administrators can choose who should see the announcements (all members, registered members, moderators or administrators).

Separate announcements can also be shown to guests.

BBCode and smilies are supported.
