This hack fixes a bug that can be reproduced by following these steps:

1. Go to the page you normally would go to to make a new post or new reply.
2. Type in some text and highlight it.
3. Unhighlight that text by selecting text within the highlight.
4. Try to insert a smilie. It'll appear at the top of the page.
